Elation Communications Receives Prestigious 2024 Apex Award for “Inspire to Elevate” Campaign

A recognition for excellence in storytelling and community impact.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Halethorpe, MD — Elation Communications is proud to announce that it has been honored with a 2024 Apex Grand Award in the Campaigns, Programs & Plans — Public Service category, recognizing its outstanding “Inspire to Elevate” initiative.

The Apex Awards, now in their 36th year, celebrate excellence in professional communications and publishing. Entries are judged on graphic design, editorial content, and overall effectiveness of communications strategy. This year’s competition included more than 1,100 submissions, making this distinction particularly meaningful.

“Inspire to Elevate”: A Campaign with Purpose

Elation’s award-winning “Inspire to Elevate” campaign was designed to uplift and empower individuals with limb loss and limb difference, helping them reach their fullest potential through storytelling, resources, and community engagement. Key highlights of the campaign include:

  • Television public service announcements (PSAs): Five PSAs (three 30-second and two 15-second spots) aired across major U.S. markets, streaming platforms, Amazon, and social media, raising $1 million in funding support.

  • Broad reach and engagement: The broadcast and digital distribution achieved a cumulative unique audience of over 2 million viewers in just 30 days.

  • Narrative-driven content: Central to the campaign is storytelling—sharing real-life journeys, challenges, and successes to inspire and motivate.

  • Interactive platform & expert insights: Users can access videos, articles, and other resources, alongside curated contributions from thought leaders and influencers in the space of personal growth and community support.

  • Community building: The campaign fosters connection and mutual support, inviting participants to engage, share their stories, and support one another’s development.

The campaign’s scope spanned brand development, video production, scripting and content creation, media buying, digital and social media management, magazine publication, media relations, and web development.

Notably, the PSAs feature high-profile personalities from “American Ninja Warrior,” NBC’s La Brea, and the Netflix producer behind L.A.’s Finest.
