Elation Welcomes Janae Olive as PR Coordinator Intern

Elation Communications is proud to welcome Janae Olive as our new PR Coordinator Intern—a rising communications professional who brings creativity, strategy, and a passion for storytelling to our growing team.

At Elation, we don’t just tell stories—we amplify extraordinary voices and ignite change. Janae’s energy, writing talent, and commitment to purposeful communication make her a natural fit for our mission-driven work.

A Strategic Storyteller in the Making

Janae is currently a junior at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, pursuing a degree in Media and Communications. With a strong academic foundation and a deep love for writing and reading, she approaches communication not just as a skill—but as a craft.

Her academic background, combined with hands-on experience in media and public relations roles, has prepared her to contribute meaningfully from day one.

A Vital Role in Amplifying Impact

The PR Coordinator Intern plays a key role in elevating client stories and strengthening Elation’s reputation as a trusted communications partner.

In this role, Janae will help drive visibility and engagement by drafting press materials and thought leadership content, supporting media outreach, building and pitching media lists, assisting with social campaigns, and researching trends to uncover strategic PR opportunities.

This position is designed for real-world execution—not observation. Janae will be actively shaping messaging, strengthening media relationships, and helping translate strategy into measurable results.

Experience That Aligns with Our Mission

Janae brings valuable experience that mirrors the demands of modern communications.

As a Media Intern, she has supported content planning, developed captions, and strengthened brand presence across digital platforms. Her previous role as Public Relations Director for the Interact Club of Road Town further sharpened her ability to manage social media, design promotional materials, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Her leadership experience as a store manager also reflects strong organizational skills, customer engagement, and adaptability—traits that are essential in fast-paced PR environments.

With advanced Canva skills and fluency across social platforms, Janae embodies the blend of creativity and execution that today’s communications landscape requires.

Growing Bold Communicators

At Elation Communications, internships are designed to offer hands-on experience driving campaigns from strategy to execution. Janae will work alongside our team to support mission-driven leaders across nonprofits, education, healthcare, government, and associations—helping to create communications that move hearts and fuel transformation.

We are committed to mentoring the next generation of strategic storytellers, and Janae’s curiosity, initiative, and enthusiasm make her an exciting addition to our team.

Looking Ahead

As we continue expanding our impact and amplifying voices that matter, Janae Olive joins us at a pivotal time.

Her ability to connect creative strategy with seamless execution strengthens our capacity to deliver bold, measurable communications for our clients.

Please join us in welcoming Janae to the Elation Communications team.

The future of storytelling is bright—and we’re just getting started.
